Witchcraft & Demon Possession

Evidence is emerging that a growing number of children are being subject to violence tied to witchcraft and exorcism rituals. These rituals, which are common in African countries, are now being uncovered by the police and social workers in the UK.

The pressure to change the definition of marriage, to include the union of two men or two women, is contrary to basic Bible teaching. The Bible confirms that it's not possible to approve such a change and still be called a Christian.

Preparations for the London Olympics have included considerable efforts to prevent the event being disrupted by terrorist attacks. Even so, fears remain that the threat of terrorism is very real, as the last 10 years have shown.

Fears are rapidly growing that Israel will react aggressively to the threat it sees in the development by Iran of its nuclear capability. The Bible explains that trouble in the Middle East is to be expected just before Christ returns.

The Arabs

The whole history of the problems in the Middle East in the last 100 years has its roots in the ‘family’ relationships between Arabs and Jews that can be traced back to the earliest Old Testament writings.  These family relationships can be better understood by exploring the historical books of the Bible.

Egypt

The Bible explains why this ancient nation still survives today, although much of her past glory has vanished into the dust. The Bible also indicates that there is a better future for Egypt when God's kingdom is established upon the earth.

Greece is a nation well known to many people. It became a member of the European Union some years ago, but recent financial problems caused its membership of the EU to be called into question.

Research has shown that climate change did not happen gradually in the past, and it will not happen that way in the future. But recent floods in Thailand, that have killed hundreds of people and ruined thousands of properties, are a sad indication of what is in store.
